Structural, Optical and Morphological Characterization of Cdse/Cds Core / Shell Quantum Dots Synthesized via Chemical Bath

CdSe/CdS Core/shell nanostructures were prepared through the chemical synthesis method. XRD ,FESEM and TEM investigations confirmed formation of core/shell structure for sample. The AFM measurement was employed to reveal morphology thin films. Optical characterizations quantum dots done by UV-visible photoluminescence spectra. It found that has good optical properties. Due presence shell coating on core CdSe, energy gap nanomaterial increased from 2.2 2.3eV. resulted QDs are a promising candidate photovoltaic biosensor applications.
